Delete Your Account

If you are signed in, you can permanently delete your account from Profile in the Aspirational Me app.

You can also email support@aspirationalme.com from the email address on your account. Say that you want the account deleted. Do not include your password, a sign-in code, or the text of your journal. Sending that email does not delete the account by itself.

What happens next

A signed-in deletion from Profile deletes the account in the app. For an email request, Aspirational Me replies to that address and asks you to confirm before deleting an account that cannot be verified from a signed-in session.

Aspirational Me then deletes the account and the profile, journal, ratings, and stored AI summaries kept for it, along with photos and files that can be matched to the account. Deleted journal text cannot be restored from the app.

Some information can remain. A limited operational record of the deletion may be kept for operational, security, or legal reasons. That record stores an account identifier and a status. It does not store your email address or your journal. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records. OpenAI and other providers that help operate the service may keep copies or logs under their own practices. Those copies are not promised to be erased immediately.
